The present research work entitled "Positioning of community tourism in the Rural Community of Misminay of the district of Maras, Cusco - 2022", the community of Misminay is a traditional town that has Quechua as its native language, it is located near the Archaeological Complex of Moray, in the district of Maras, Urubamba province, this community has agriculture as its main activities, however, currently marketing strategies to publicize community tourism in this area are not very effective. Determine the level of positioning of community tourism in the Rural Community of Misminay of the District of Maras, Cusco - 2022. With reference to the methodology, it was of a basic type, it had a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, having the sample population made up of 75 tourists on average and 25 managers of travel agencies that operate in this area to whom a survey was applied, it was concluded that the level of positioning of Community Tourism in the Rural Community of Misminay in the district of Maras, Cusco - 2022, according to the tourists surveyed, they qualify it as regular, this perception is also held by those in charge of travel agencies, because the aforementioned factors that support the development of positioning are deficient and do not contribute to the promotion being effective and not have the desired impact.
