The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between teaching stressors and self-efficacy in regular basic education teachers in Arequipa in the COVID 19 health emergency. The study used an associative quantitative approach with a controlled correlational design with a sample of 217 regular basic education teachers from the department of Arequipa (24% men and 76% women) from 25 to 65 years of age belonging to public and private institutions. The instruments used were the Teacher Stress Scale in Times of Pandemic and the General Self-Efficacy Scale. The results show that the average edge weights ranged from -.12 to .52 and 8 of the 15 edges were nonzero (53.33% density). In relation to the centrality indices, Work Environment is the most influential according to the Expected Influenced. The stability coefficient (CS) is equal to .75 (CS > .50) and the precision reveals a non-significant variation in bootstrap procedure. Finally, when comparing the networks according to gender, it was shown that there are relationships in the male network that do not appear in the female network, such as Self-Efficacy-Employment (r = -.19), Employment-Enviroment (r = -.33). Likewise, in the female network there is a relationship that is not present in the male network, such as Aspect-Uncertainty (r = .20). In conclusion, high levels of conflict and ambiguity in roles can slightly influence people's self-efficacy.
