The objective of this research was to identify the levels of anxiety in the volunteer firefighters of Company No. 39 "Miguel H. Milla" of Wanchaq, Cusco. The research design is of a simple descriptive scope, whose population and sample were firefighters. For the evaluation of anxiety levels, the Hamilton Scale (RS) was obtained”, which allowed us to better describe them, in two dimensions, psychic and somatic. The analysis of the results was done through the Chi square test at 95% reliability, showing that anxiety was manifested at low and innocuous levels, which denote that there is no somatization of anxiety in firefighters, demonstrating that these levels will not be detrimental to the performance of the firefighter when intervening in an emergency or sinister. In the same way, it was sought to scrutinize the implication of anxiety within the company, distinguishing ages, sex and physical and mental symptoms.
