The objective of this research is to develop a solid waste management plan, for which a diagnosis of the current situation was first made in the wholesale establishment La Canasta E.I.R.L. located in the city of Iquitos. Establishment dedicated to the wholesale and retail sale of essential products, which are currently generating accumulation of solid waste, generating an impact on the business (workers) and customers of the city of Iquitos. From the work carried out, relevant information has been obtained that the establishment in relation to the work area that produces the greatest solid waste is the warehouse with 34.48 kg. on monthly average; followed by the sales area with 17.62 kg. on monthly average; and finally the administrative area with 5.51 kg. on monthly average. According to the type of waste generated in the La Canasta establishment, the one that is generated in the greatest quantity is inorganic waste with 44.02 kg. representing 76.41% of the monthly average. Of these, the one with the highest production is paper with 25.54 kg, followed by plastic with 12.62 kg. and finally the glass with 5.86 kg. While the organic waste generated is 13.59 kg. monthly average, representing 23.59% of the monthly average. The results show that 6 (43%) of the respondents know what solid waste is; 7 (50%) of them do not know what solid waste is; and only 01 respondent does not know or think. In addition, 10 (71%) respondents have not received talks on solid waste management and 100% of respondents (According to graph No. 13) state that they agree to receive information on how to work with a good waste management plan. solids. In addition, the establishment does not have adequate and sufficient containers for the collection and deposit of this waste. From these data the establishment.
