Perú is one of the richest countries in water, but we are worried that this resource is inadequately distributed, besides the lack of knowledge and technique on its rational use. The Vilcahuaura’s water channel, which doesn’t have an infrastructure and/or instrumentation about measurement of the water flow, further the presence of sediments on the walls of the water channel that has originated the vegetation growth, this problem affects the modification of the water flow behavior, because of the rugosity changes on slabs and walls, thus the installation of a hydraulic work is difficult and/or instrumentation about measurement of the water flow per the flow regime change which leads to an inefficient use of this resource caused by the excessive consumption of this itself. With the “insitu” recopilated information, like topographic lifting, information provided by the users commission board of the Vilcahuara’s hydraulic sub sector, which ones allow us to propose a conceptual model of flow that is base information to make the numerical modelling of five ideal and real scenarios with data obtained from the field. Two visits were made to the study zone in August 2020 and in January 2021, where information was collected about the depth, geometric characteristics of the channel, slope of the channel, this allowed us to make the zoning of roughness by progressives through conceptual modeling, based on this information, numerical modeling, as a result, it shows us that in the progressive 0+220 meets the hydraulic conditions to make the instrumentation by means of a graduated rule for a better flow control.
