The objective of this study was to implement the 5s methodology to increase productivity in the MegaTextiles S.A.C. workshop located in the district of la Victoria. As a method it was considered the sampling based on the collaborators present in the workshop which consisted of 10 people (7 workers in production and 3 in high position). The research used a quasi-experimental design, with an explanatory-descriptive scope, and according to its purpose of applied type. Data collection was obtained through a checklist for the collection of data on the number of jackets produced before and after the implementation divided into two stages in a longitudinal way with a total of 4 months (2 months before and 2 months after) and a questionnaire for the perception of employees on the implementation of the 5s, obtaining a reliability measurement of 0.930 in the Cronbach’s alpha. The results achieved were the use of the paired test technique for the contrast of general and specific hypotheses whose scores were between the difference of means before with 126.40 and after the implementation with 170.00, thus being the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. It is concluded with the significant increase for productivity by 18% and for efficiency by 24% through the implementation of the 5s methodology.
