A presentation of 30 clinical cases was selected for leaving me with significant learning during the medical internship during my stay at the Buenos Aires de Villa Primary Care Center and at the María Auxiliadora Hospital. The presumptive diagnoses requested laboratory tests, final diagnoses, arising or complications, specific treatment or referral criteria to a more complex health center, and reflections on each case are described. Objective: to describe and critically analyze the clinical cases that I witnessed as a medical intern and that contributed to my professional learning. Methodology: a descriptive and critical analysis of the clinical experience obtained during the medical internship. Main results or findings: 30 clinical cases reported in the Buenos Aires de Villa health center and in the María Auxiliadora Hospital are described. The ability to identify prevalent pathologies at the first level of care, early diagnosis, and timely management of each one is rescued. Conclusions: the most significant learnings as a medicine intern were to make an early diagnosis, know how to manage the most prevalent pathologies, learn surgical techniques, use complementary tests efficiently, as well as recognize the limitations of our Peruvian healthcare system.
