El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo ver la relación entre funcionalidad familiar y estrés. Así como, identificar diferencias según sexo y carrera. Se planteó un estudio de estrategia asociativa, diseño correlacional simple y comparativo en 240 estudiantes de Ciencias de la Salud (80,6% mujeres) entre 16 a 29 años. Los resultados mostraron que existe correlación inversa entre estrés y funcionalidad familiar. Se evidenció diferencias significativas entre estrés positivo y negativo a favor de las mujeres. No se encontraron diferencias significativas entre estrés positivo según carrera. No obstante, se encontraron diferencias entre estrés negativo y funcionalidad familiar según carrera. Se concluye que a mayor funcionalidad familiar son menores los niveles de estrés. (es_PE)
This study aimed to see the relationship between family functionality and stress. As well as identifying the differences according to gender and career. An associative strategy study was proposed with a simple and comparative correlational design on 240 Health Science students (80.6% women) between 16 and 29 years old. The results showed that there was an inverse correlation between stress and family functionality. Significant differences were found between positive and negative stress in favor of women. No significant differences were found between positive stress according to career. However, differences were found between negative stress and family functionality according to career. The conclusion was, the higher the family functionality, the lower the stress levels. (es_PE)
