This thesis work presents a business model that seeks to solve the problem of returns of women's clothing. Sumaq through a mobile application seeks to allow female users to calculate their personal size and simulate how a certain garment would look like through an avatar, that is, women will be able to try on a garment without attending a physical store in person. Likewise, the mobile application will allow any woman to buy garments such as jeans, blouses, dresses, long sleeve polo shirts, short sleeve polo shirts and pajamas from the comfort of her cell phone and in this way the garments are sent home after a purchase. This application allows companies that sell women's garments (entrepreneurial partners) to subscribe on the Sumaq platform so that prior contract they can offer their garments to users who enter our application. On the other hand, we will provide these partner companies with a free analytics service through which they will be able to know the characteristics and preferences of their buyers. The mobile application is aimed at women between the ages of 25 and 59 of socioeconomic levels A, B and C, who live in Modern Lima, which includes the districts of Barranco, Jesús María, La Molina, Lince, Magdalena del Mar, Miraflores, Pueblo Libre, San Borja, San Isidro, San Miguel, Santiago de Surco and Surquillo. During the development of the business model, two hypotheses were validated that sought to determine the desirability of the mobile application for the purchase of clothing by the female user. Surveys and tests were carried out using the prototype of the mobile application with selected people, which resulted in the end users having ease of use and confidence when using the mobile application. On the other hand, other hypotheses referring to the feasibility of the business model were validated regarding the expected sales during the first ten years of the project's life, with an estimated income of S/ 8'968,854.65 in the tenth year. Finally, a validation of the viability of the business from the financial point of view was carried out through Montecarlo simulations, which resulted in a profitable business model. In conclusion, the mobile application proposed by Sumaq is based on a business model that is accepted by its potential user. Likewise, this business model is sustainable since it is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals # 8 and # 13. The Sumaq company projects to obtain a financial NPV of S/ 1'190,610.70 and a financial IRR of 42.13% apart from he benefits that it would give to women, such as mainly reducing their returns of garments and allowing them to save time and money by not having to go to a store in-person. Also, entrepreneurial partners of women's clothing will benefit from the analytical services that they will obtain through the application, since they will be able to establish strategies based on what the women's clothing market demands. For these reasons, it is recommended that the business model proposed in this project be put into practice by the team after completing the master's program.
