The objective of the present investigation was to determine the relationship that exists between the self-esteem and the intelligence coefficient of the students of Colegio América del Callao. The focus was on quantitative research, descriptive correlational type, non-experimental design. The population was composed of 32 students, who were given a questionnaire called Bell Self-Esteem Inventory, of 20 questions with a scale of three categories of responses referring to the self-esteem variable, and a questionnaire called Edgar Anstey's Domino Test. 48 questions, with a unique answer alternative for the variable Intelligence coefficient. The analysis corresponding to the results of the survey was made, reaching the empirical demonstration that 100% of the students have very good and good self-esteem; arriving to consider the average as GOOD; also the average 43.8% of the students have intelligence above the average, 51.1% are in the middle term, and 3.1% below the average; It has a medium term level. This was widely corroborated and contrasted using the chi square. It was concluded that self-esteem is significantly related to the intelligence coefficient of the Colegio América del Callao students.
