This thesis reports an investigation developed with a quantitative approach, correlational scope and cross-cutting design, on the influence exerted by the educational climate on the academic engagement of students of the School of Police Vocational Training of Officers "National Hero Captain Alipio Ponce Vásquez" of the National Police of Peru. The random and stratified sample consisted of 245 students belonging to the eighteen sections of the Specialty of Order and Security during the 2019 academic year. TheDreEM (Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure )and the SAE (Student Engagement Academic Engagement ) scale were used as information collection tools, acceptablely validated with Aiken V and Cronbach's Alpha. The data were assessed with the scale of stanones for the establishment of the qualitative levels of the variables studied, and with the Nonparametric Correlation Coefficient Test Rho of Spearman to determine the degree, shape and significance of the associations postulated in the general hypothesis and in specific research hypotheses. The findings found reported a moderate positive influence of the educational climate in academic engagement, as well as the dimensions of the educational climate (perception of learning, perception of teaching, academic perception and perception of the study atmosphere ) about the academic engagement of participating students, with the exception of the social perception of the educational climate that positively influenced low academic engagement. The results obtained in the sample of the non-commissioned students of the Spartan Order and Security Specialty of the Promotion of the headquarters of Puente Piedra, finally, proved to be significant at a probability level of p<0,05.
