The present investigation called quality of completion of orthodontic treatment in students of the Stomatology Program of the Scientific University of Peru, Iquitos -2018, requires special consideration, therefore the objective of this research was to determine the quality of completion of orthodontic treatment. The method used was quantitative and the methodological design was non-experimental, descriptive and transversal. The sample was of 30 students who met the inclusion criteria, also the instrument used was the IBC index (Índice Board Ces), which was distributed in 13 items, where it was evaluated: Alignment; marginal flanges; buccolingual inclination; occlusal relationship; oclusal contacts; overjet; overbite; interproximal contacts; spee curve; interdental media line; medium facial line with superior arc; lateral disocclusion; previous desoclusion (Incisive Guide), each with three rating scales according to their nature. The results indicate that 26.7% of students evaluated present "Good" quality of completion of orthodontic treatment, however there is a high percentage that is represented by 73.3% of students evaluated that show the quality of completion of "Regular" orthodontic treatment, being the most frequent parameter during the evaluation the interproximal contacts with 83.3% as "Good", as well as an overbite and previous de-occlusion in 76.6%. It was concluded that the quality of finalization of orthodontic treatment of the students does not comply with the optimal parameters of quality.
