Title: Calidad de atención de enfermería y nivel de satisfacción de los pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo II en emergencia ESSALUD - 2014

Abstract: The objective was to determine the relationship between the quality of infirmary attention and the level of satisfaction of patient with Diabetes Mellitus Type II of 30 to 70 years of both sexes, assisted in Emergency of the Hospital it is HEALTH of the city of Iquitos in the year 2014. The used method was the quantitative one and the non experimental design of type correlational, traverse. It was conformed it by 45 patients and the sample for the population's 100%. The technique was the interview .To evaluate the quality of infirmary attention, was the instrument the questionnaire of the pattern servqual, structured with 22 questions (validity 81,0% y dependability of 78,0%), and to evaluate the patient's satisfaction a questionnaire it was used structured with 10 questions (validity 80,0% dependability 77,0%). For the statistical analysis, was the descriptive statistic used as absolute and relative frequencies (%), and for the inference the statistical test Squared Chi (X2), with α =0.05 with a level of trust of 95%. The package statistical employee was the (SPSS), version 19,0.Resultados: pensioners were assured (33,0%), of the group bigger mature (69%), masculine sex (62%), time of illness of 31 to 40 years (40,0%) and (60,0%) they referred to have abandoned its treatment. In quality of infirmary attention (66,6%) they referred that the attention was faulty, the aspects evaluated negatives were in reliability, with (91.1%) the infirmary personnel should assist the patient respecting the order of his arrival, in security (88.9%) that the personnel of Infirmary should trust that the atmospheres are aseptic, free of microorganisms patogens with high infection risk, finally in empathy (82.2%) that in a good service of hospitalization the personnel of Infirmary should go with respect and kindness to the patient. In satisfaction (80,0%) they referred to be unsatisfied with the received attention, the aspects in those that more they felt unsatisfied they were with (77.8%) the entrance facilities of family, with (73.3%) in security (emergency exits, signaling, warnings) and (71.1%) that the attention to the patient should be respecting the order from its arrival to Emergency. Conclusion: When establishing the relationship between the quality of infirmary attention and the level of satisfaction it was obtained been statistically significant (p = 0.001) for α = 0.05.

El objetivo fue determinar la relación entre la calidad de atención de enfermería y el nivel de satisfacción de pacientes con Diabetes Mellitus Tipo II de 30 a 70 años de ambos sexos, atendidos en Emergencia del Hospital Es SALUD de la ciudad de Iquitos en el año 2014. El método empleado fue el cuantitativo y el diseño no experimental de tipo correlacional, transversal. La cual estuvo conformada por 45 pacientes y la muestra por el 100% de la población. La técnica fue la entrevista. Para evaluar la calidad de atención de enfermería, el instrumento fue el cuestionario del modelo servqual, estructurado con 22 preguntas (validez 81,0% confiabilidad de 78,0%), y para evaluar la satisfacción del paciente se empleó un cuestionario estructurado con 10 preguntas (validez 80,0% y confiabilidad 77,0%). Para el análisis estadístico, se utilizó la estadística descriptiva como frecuencias absolutas y relativas (%), y para la inferencia la prueba estadística Chi Cuadrado( X2 ), con α =0.05 con un nivel de confianza de 95%.El paquete estadístico empleado fue el (SPSS), versión 19,0.Resultados: Fueron asegurados pensionistas (33,0%), del grupo etario adulto mayor (69%), sexo masculino (62%),tiempo de enfermedad de 31 a 40 años (40,0%) y (60,0%) refirieron haber abandonado su tratamiento. En calidad de atención de enfermería (66,6%) refirieron que la atención fue deficiente, los aspectos evaluados negativos fueron en fiabilidad, con (91.1%) el personal de enfermería debe atender al paciente respetando el orden de su llegada, en seguridad (88.9%) que el personal de Enfermería debe confiar que los ambientes son asépticos, libre de microorganismos patógenos con alto riesgo de contagio, finalmente en empatía (82.2%) que en un buen servicio de hospitalización el personal de Enfermería debe dirigirse con respeto y amabilidad al paciente. En satisfacción (80,0%) refirieron estar insatisfechos con la atención recibida, los aspectos en los que más se sintieron insatisfechos fueron con (77.8%) las facilidades de ingreso de familiares, con (73.3%) en seguridad (salidas de emergencia, señalización, avisos) y (71.1%) que la atención al paciente debe ser respetando el orden de su llegada a Emergencia. Conclusión: Al establecer la relación entre la calidad de atención de enfermería y el nivel de satisfacción se obtuvo resultados estadísticamente significativos (p= 0.001) para  = 0.05.
