From April 2018 to February 2019, the fishing activity in Santa Rosa from Aripari (Aripari lake) was characterized, in increasing (April-June 2018; November-February 2019) and emptying (July-October 2018) of the Marañon river. It was determined that more than 50% of family heads have basic studies; They carry out 7 types of economic activities, the most representative being fishing (95% of families throughout the year), having registered a total extraction of 10650.68 kg of fresh fish, of which 67% was destined for sale and 33% to the consumption of families; Increasing was the season with the highest catches record (6122.24 kg), effort index (2.40 kg/fisher/day) and per capita consumption (180 g/person/day). The species boquichico Prochilodus nigricans and llambina Potamorhina altamazonica, presented the highest total catch volumes (1626.22 and 1371.57 kg respectively), followed by Triportheus angulatus, Hoplias malabaricus and Pseudorinelepis genibarbis, however, these species were also under high fishing pressure and presented growths of the isometric and negative allometric type respectively, whose reproductive periods began in October, in accordance with the increase of the Marañon river level, with maximum peaks of sexual maturity in December for boquichico and November for llambina, Furthermore, their populations presented normal ratios of 1:1 male-female.
