This research aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes toward contraceptive use among adolescents in AIMS MORB, !quitos- 2015; the total population was of 807 adolescents, the sample was made up of 260 adolescents 4th and 5th year ofhigh school; determined by the formula for finite populations and proportional allocation. The quantitative method, not experimental, descriptive correlational design was used. Survey and interview, 2 instruments: a questionnaire to identify the level ofknowledge about contraception and the Likert scale to assess attitudes towards the use of contraceptive methods, both instruments were valid for two data collection techniques were used 82% respectively and the reliability was 71.2% for the knowledge questionnaire by the method of coefficient Kuder - Richardson KR 20, and 81.4% for the scale of attitudes according to Cronbach's alpha. With the following results: 82.3% (214) ofadolescents have inadequate knowledge level, 17.7% (46) appropriate level ofknowledge; 93.8% (244) have negative attitude towards the use of contraceptives, 6.2% (16) of adolescents have attitude of acceptance. To establish the relationship between these variables results were subjected to statistical Chi square test (X2) finding X2c = 17,406, df = 1, p = 0.000, a = 0.05 determining that there is a statistically significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes the use of contraceptive methods in adolescents AIMS MORB, Iquitos-2015; considered a scientific contribution to the scientific community, sectors such as education, health and NGOs working with adolescents in sexual and reproductive health.
