This study aimed to determine the oral health status and use of dental services in secondary schools in the IE Experimental-UNAP. The type of research was quantitative, its design was not experimental, correlational, cross. The sample consisted of 206 children in the district of San Juan. To identify the Use of Dental Service, a survey was used to measure the use of services based on the Andersen Behavioral Model, and for the oral health status was used as follows: the CPOD index, Periodontal Treatment Need Index, Index Need orthodontic treatment. Among the most important findings were found: The number of patients with caries experience was 70.39%. The CPOD was 3.51 (LOW). The average number of caries was 76.52% (554), 12.29% (89) sealed parts, 11.19% (81) missing pieces. The dental component (DHC) Level 1 was predominant with 50.7% in Periodontal Treatrnent Index was the most prevalent with 44.2% TN2. On the Use of Dental Services 52.43% said that used the service. To establish the relationship between variables was applied to test non-parametric Chisquare (X2 ) yielding a p = 0.126 for X2 = 5.716 with a 0.05 anda= y gl = 3, determined that there is no statistically significant relationship between the State of Oral Health and Dental Component Category. No statistically significant relationship between the State of Oral Health and Dental Services Utilization, with a p = 0.086 X2 = 4.899 for a = 0.05 and a = 2 gl.
