Peru has the Programa de Turismo Social stipulated in articles 45 and 46 of the General Tourism Law that guarantees access to tourist activities for vulnerable minorities, one of them being people with visual disabilities (PDV) (acronym in Spanish). Objectives. This research seeks to design a tourism product for PDV in the Mateo Salado Archaeological Complex (CAMS) (acronym in Spanish) based on the perceptions of this population regarding access and tourist experience in archaeological complexes, and their expectations regarding a potential tourism product for PDV in CAMS, as well as the conditions and opportunities offered by the administration of this place for the design of the product. Methodology. It is a qualitative investigation with focus on psychological phenomenology, descriptive and applied. For this, in-depth interviews were conducted to PDV who have visited an archaeological complex, an authority from a PDV organization, a specialist in tourism products from a travel agency and the authority of the CAMS socio-cultural management area. Results. The PDV interviewed consider that these places are not accessible, so it must be equipped with elements related to infrastructure and services. Likewise, the CAMS administration has some favorable conditions and opportunities.
