This research is of a basic-correlational type, its study variables are bullying and family functioning in students of the San Ramón-Recoleta Educational Institution in the city of Cajamarca, 2019. The objective of the research is to determine if there is a relationship between bullying and the dimensions of family functioning in each of the adolescents. For this, two tests were applied: CUVE3-ESO and FACES IV. The population was 600 students. The chosen sample consists of 234 adolescents, obtained with the finite sample formula under the non-probabilistic criterion. It was found that there is an inverse correlation between the cohesion dimension with bullying, which implies that while family members are separated or connected to each other and are able to support each other, bullying tends to decrease; In the same way, it was found that there is an inverse correlation between the dimension of flexibility with bullying, which means that when the family system has the ability to change its power structure, roles, and relationship rules in response to a situational demand or development, bullying tends to decrease and an inverse correlation between the facilitating dimension and bullying, which shows that as long as family members have the freedom to be connected to the family member of their choice or to be alone, bullying tends to diminish.
