The Construction sector in Peru is considered to be the sector with high rates of accidents during labor processes to varying degrees, such as minor and serious injuries and even deaths. The general objective of this research is to Implement a Work Safety System and its effect on incidents and accidents on site, expansion and improvement in the I.E. Nuestra Señora de la Asunta, Arequipa -2020. Regarding the methodology used, this research is of an applied type, according to the research level,it is explanatory and with respect to the research design,it is quasi-experimental. The sample consisted of 22 workers from the Expansion and Improvement of the I.E. Nuestra Señora de la Asunta in the district of Machaguay, province of Castila -Department of Arequipa. For methodological reasons, it was considered to take the total population because it is a small number;the type of sample used was census. Andin the results before implementation, 27 incidents and 8 disabling accidents were identified, with a total of 53 days lost not worked due to work accidents in the months of August to December 2019. After implementation, 4 incidents and 0 were identified disabling accidents, having a total of 0 days lost not worked, reducing the accident rate (IA) of 0.00.
