Objective: To determine infectious pathologies with a blood administration route in the presence of seroreactivity in blood donors from the Regional Hospital of Ica during the period 2021. Material and methods: The type of research is descriptive, observational, transversal and retrospective level. Population and sample: Due to the low frequency of cases for these diseases, it was decided to work with all blood donors at the Regional Hospital of Ica, during the 2021 period; However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and applying the exclusion criteria, only 671 donors were used. Results: Factors associated with positive seroreactivity to HIV in blood donors in the Regional Hospital of Ica, 2021. Regarding the factors associated with seroreactivity to HIV, there was only one positive case; For this reason, the low frequency (0.1%) of cases did not allow obtaining statistical significance in the Chi square test (X2). Additionally, the OR calculation could not be performed properly because one of the components of the 2x2 square takes the value of zero. To determine an association between seroreactivity to syphilis and some sociodemographic variables, the Chi-square test (X2) was used, in the same sense, to know the measure of effect between the studied factors, the Odds Ratio (OR) was calculated. Conclusion: It is concluded that the most frequent seroreactivity in blood donors in the Regional Hospital of Ica, 2021 was hepatitis B with a value of 8.9%. It is concluded that no factors associated with the presence of seroreactivity to HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B were found in blood donors at the Regional Hospital of Ica, 2021. Key words: Seroreactivity, infectious pathologies, HIV, transmission. (es_ES)
