The present research aims to determine the degree of relationship between Leadership and Control Services in the Regional Cusco Office of the Comptroller General of Republic in 2016. The method followed corresponds to a research of descriptive and correlational scope with design Non-experimental cross-sectional study, the population equal to the sample of 60 employees of the Cusco Office of the CGR, the technique has been the survey and the instrument the questionnaire validated by expert criteria. The conclusions allow to show that: The general characteristics of the study sample are workers who are mostly between 36 and over, female in 63.33%, with university education in 95%, of which 54.41%. Have masters, 55% are accounting professionals; Regarding the leadership in the Cusco Office of the Comptroller General of Republic in 2016, it is evident that 96.67% participated in the control services, of which 25% participated as Head of Commission, being prevalent that they participated between 1 to 3 times in 25%, as a member in 58.33%, as a specialist in 16.67%; regarding leadership, the Supervisor is considered the Leader in 68.33% and the Chief of Commission in 95%, a 85% consider the style of leadership perceived to be participatory; of which 41.67% consider that respect for personal ideas and opinions is a main attribute of the participatory leadership style, permanent collaboration to the team is an attribute in 15% for collaborative leadership, they are not appreciated Special attributes for instrumentalist leadership, 83.33% of respondents consider that the participative leadership style influences positively, while 81.67% values the style of instrumentalist leadership as negative. The degree of relationship between Leadership and Control Services in the Regional Cusco Office of the Comptroller General of Republic in 2016 is direct with a Chi square value of 65,401, statistically significant. (P <0.05).
