This thesis investigates the relationship between reverse logistics and solid waste management in thirty-two motorbike stores located in the Wanchac district of Cusco. Qualitative standpoint analysis was used to analyze the surveys deployed throughout the motorbike stores. Specifically, co-match descriptive theory and no experimental design- transactional theory were utilized in the analysis. Essential to the understanding of this work is the classification system offered by Díaz, Alvarez, & Gonzales (2009, págs. 53-56). They classify the variable reverse logistic into 4 dimensions: reuse motivation, type of recuperated item, the way to reusing, and staff involved. Both, the survey and the survey instrument fact sheet were analyzed and validated by an expert analyst from the Universidad Andina del Cusco who ran the alpha de Cronbach 0.811 . The results of the chi square test were less than < 0.05and thus rejected the invalid hypothesis proving that the reverse logistic has a relationship with solid waste management in the motorbike stores in the Wanchaq district of Cusco 2015. In conclusion, it was found that both the reverse logistic and solid waste management have a medium relationship (45.2%). The majority of the motorbike shops empirically practice reverse logistic, because there is neither intrinsic nor extrinsic motivation due to the lack of understanding of potential benefits from proper management of their solid waste.
