This research was conducted in order to provide expertise in the area of sexual and reproductive health with regard to obstetric complications of domestic violence cases, these results will generate new studies seeking alternative solution to this big problem Public health. Objective: To determine the relationship between family violence and obstetric complications in pregnant women who come to the clinic San José, Cusco; in the period from January to June 2015. Methodology: The focus of research is quantitative, its scope is correlational and type of design is not experimental cross. Conclusions: In the present investigation, it is determined that there is a relationship between the study variables: family violence and obstetric complications, since the existence of violence within the family negatively impacts the health of pregnant women, creating the appearance of complications midwives during pregnancy, delivery or postpartum. The most common form of family violence is psychological violence (57%), followed by the combination of psychological and physical violence (20.9%), then psychological and sexual violence (9.3%), while the combination of the three forms of violence (7%) and finally the sexual violence occurred in 5.8% of participants. Obstetric complications that presented the participants were as follows: 42.3% of respondents ended in premature birth, followed by 11.5% with low birth weight at birth, 10.3% threatened abortion 10,3% abortion, hyperemesis gravidarum 10.3%, 5.1% premature rupture of membranes, 3.8% pre eclampsia, stillbirth 2.6%, 2.6% preterm labor and finally 1.3 % infection. Of the patients who had obstetric complications of family violence, we can conclude the following: 69.8% of pregnant women treated at the San Jose Clinic Cusco, they claimed to be victims of domestic violence, according to the form violence the following results were obtained: As a result of psicol or logical violence: 6.3% had threatened abortion (AA); or 12.5% ended in abortion; 43.8% preterm delivery (PP); 6, 3% premature rupture of membranes (PROM) and hyperemesis gravidarum respectively; 9.4% hypertension or pregnancy-induced (HPI); 3.1% orfetal habit (OF) and 12.5% low birth weight (LBW). While pregnant women who were v í victims of sexual violence; or 75.0% ended in preterm delivery and 25.0% of receiv e n born had low birth weight. N or the combination of forms of violence: the pregnant women who were victims of violence v f í í musician and psicol or logical; 28.6% had AA; or 21.4% ended in abortion;APP 7.1%; 14.3% PP and hyper- and grav mesis í indicates respectively; and 7.1% OF BPN respectively. While pregnant women who were victims of psychological and sexual violence; 20.0% had Diagnose or AA, PP, RPM, hyperemesis gravidarum and BPN respectively. Finally pregnant women who were victims of the combination of the three forms of violence: physical, logical and psychological or sexual; 13.3% had AA and abortion respectively; APP 3.3%, 33.3% PP; RPM 6.7%; 10.0% hyperemesis gravidarum; HIE 5.0%; 3.3% or fetal habit and 11.7% BPN. After applying the chi-square test it was obtained as a result p = 0.00. Thus it can be concluded to a 95% confidence that there relationship or n between the variables: family violence and obstetric complications, so it has proven the hypothesis, stating that there n complications Obstetric that They have been derived from family violence in pregnant women attending the Clínica San José, Cusco, in the period from January to June 2015.
