The main objective of the present investigation was to determine comparatively the magnitudes of the mechanical properties and elastic constant: Compression strength, tensile strength and modulus of elasticity of a concrete with dosage f'c = 210 kg / cm with respect to a concrete replaced 20% by weight of the fine aggregate with crushed brick waste evaluated at the ages of: 7, 14, 21 and 28 days, for which cylindrical specimens (briquettes) of concrete were made that were cured during the periods of time to be evaluated and subjected to tests of compression resistance, modulus of elasticity and tensile strength according to ASTM C39, ASTM C469 and ASTM C496 standards. Finalizing the investigation of the analyzed properties (Resistance to compression, Modulus of elasticity and Resistance to traction) it was concluded that concrete replaced by brick residues with respect to a concrete pattern have similar mechanical properties and elastic constant magnitudes. Concluding that the Compression Resistance of the modified concrete obtained an increase with respect to the standard concrete of 5% at 7 days, 1% at 14 days, 2% at 21 days and at 28 days it suffered a decrease of 1%; Regarding the Resistance to Traction, an increase of 11% was observed at 7 days, 1% at 14 days, 2% at 21 days and at 28 days no variation was observed; with respect to the Elasticity Module at 7 days, an increase of 7% was observed and finally 1% at 14, 21 and 28 days. 2
