The District of Huayopata has an extraordinary tourist potential which lacks an adequate promotion on the part of the public entities like the Municipalities, the Ministry of Culture, the Regional Direction of Foreign Trade and Tourism, PROMPERU and private as travel agencies, tourist press, hotels, restaurants, tourist transport and other agents involved. The objective of this thesis is to implement a plan to promote the tourist attractions of the Huayopata district that diversifies the tourist offer in Cusco. The methodology applied is Descriptive - Evaluative, as well as tourists at various points such as: Airport, Main Square, Hotels, Restaurants and Travel agencies in Saint Theresa. The analysis and interpretation of the results helped to elaborate a set of proposals by means of the tourist promotion of public and private entities training the providers of services involved in the tourist activity, about the importance of diversifying attractions the creation of new tourist circuits, an appropriate signage will help to link a set of activities that will allow the demand tourists stay more than a day. It was concluded that there is a low level of tourism promotion in Huayopata , evidencing a lack of interest on the part of the authorities in charge of promoting the attractions, the institutions lack a promotion plan for resources that are not within the traditional circuit offered by tour operators, which could diversify the tourist offer in Cusco in the long term..
