The present research entitled “EMPOWERMENT AND PRODUCTIVITY IN WORKERS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF OPERATIONS OF CONSTRUCTION COMPANY MECH IN THE CITY OF CUSCO, 2019“ whose objective was to determine the relationship between Empowerment and Productivity of workers in the area of operations of the MECH construction company in the city of Cusco, 2019. The methodological design that was used was cross-sectional and correlational, the population was made up of workers who work in the MECH construction company who have staff under their care, for a total of 50. The technique used to collect information was the survey and the instrument used was the questionnaire, one for each variable. The results found were: in the workers of the MECH construction company in the city of Cusco, it was identified that 76% of the workers of the MECH construction company manifest having a high level of Empowerment. 74% of the workers of the construction company MECH claim to have a high level of productivity. The conclusion reached with the present study was: when establishing the correlation of Chi square X2 = 17.064 with a p value of 0.000 in the workers in the MECH construction area of operations, it is concluded that there is a positive linear relationship between the Empowerment and Productivity. Furthermore, establishing by means of Kendall's Tau b test, a correlation coefficient of 58.41% is obtained.
