This research work in which is applied in children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, regarding to determine the efficacy of the dental brushing technique in children and adolescents with high functioning Autistic Spectrum Disorder to preserve the oral health of the individual. This was done with a total sample of 80 children together with adolescents, divided into 40 children aged 6-11 years and 40 adolescents aged 12-17 years. The population and data collection was carried out in the centers C.E.B.E. Nuestra Señora del Carmen, C.E.B.E Don José de San Martin, C.E.B.E San Juan de Dios and Camino Nuevo. The instrument used for the evaluation was the Simplified Oral Hygiene Index, where he was personally taught the proper brushing technique, the Fonnes technique and the red technique to white dividing respectively into groups. As a result of the objective on Identifying children and adolescents with Autistic Spectrum Disorder according to the ICD-10 classification. Of the 40 children of 6-11 years we had as values, in which the Atypical Autism represented 11.25%, the Rett Syndrome represented 8.75%, as well as the Asperger's Syndrome and represent 8.75%, finally the infantile disintegrative Disorder was 21.25%. In the group of 40 adolescents between the ages of 12-17, they present Atypical Autism representing 18.75%, Rett Syndrome representing 5.00%, while Asperger Syndrome was 13.75%, finally Disintegrative Disorder representing 12.50%. The results of the objective to Evaluate the effectiveness of the Fonnes technique in terms of brushing frequency and the Simplified Oral Hygiene Index of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder of 40, in the first evaluation, only 1 presented an adequate brushing frequency with a regular simplified oral hygiene index with a value of 2.50%, 37 children presented an inadequate brushing frequency with a regular simplified oral hygiene index representing 92.5%, and 2 presented an inadequate brushing frequency with a good simplified oral hygiene index representing 5.0% representing 92.5%, and 2 presented an inadequate brushing frequency with a good simplified oral hygiene index representing 5.0% representing 5.0% good oral hygiene index representing 5.0% good oral hygiene index. In the last stage, the third evaluation of the 40, 36 presented an adequate brushing frequency with a good simplified oral hygiene index representing 90%, 2 presented an adequate brushing frequency and the simplified oral hygiene index was regular giving a value of 5%, other 2 presented an inadequate brushing frequency and their simplified oral hygiene index was regular giving a value of 5%. The results were obtained in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the Red to White technique in terms of brushing frequency and the Simplified Oral Hygiene Index of children and adolescents with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, of the 4. In the first stage, the 40 children presented an inadequate brushing frequency, with a regular simplified oral hygiene index giving values of 100% and in the last stage the 40 children presented an adequate brushing frequency with a good oral hygiene index representing 100%. As results in relation to the effectiveness between techniques Fonnes and Red to White. We had the initial values of the first stage, in the phones technique of the 40 students, only 2 presented a good simplified oral hygiene index representing 2.5%, and 37 presented a regular simplified oral hygiene index representing 47.5% in the red to white technique, of which the 40 represented a regular simplified oral hygiene index representing 50%.In the third evaluation in the Fonnes technique of the 40, 36 presented a good oral hygiene index representing 45% and 4 presented a regular oral hygiene index giving the value of 5%, unlike the red to white technique that the 40 students presented a good oral hygiene index giving the values of 50%.
