This research was focused on the evaluation and determination of the resistance coefficient “K“ by testing local load loss in both galvanized iron accessories as PVC, diameter 1/2 “, 3/4“ and 1 “which diameters tend to be the most commonly used in water installations in buildings. For this evaluation was used a bank HYDRAULIC KIT piezometers and ACCESSORIES NETS WITH WATER PIPES (these networks were prepared manually). Assays local head loss in fittings, were conducted in the Hydraulics Laboratory of the Andean University of Cusco. the type of material, the diameter and the type of joint (pressure or threaded) with regard to accessories: In these tests various factors are considered as. And with regard to the area, using actual flows that are commonly den in a building in the city of Cusco. As a result of the investigation, tables for each type of accessory water both galvanized iron and PVC were obtained 1/2 “, 3/4“ and 1 “diameter, yielding the following: - Tables of values of local head loss in Accessories “hL“ - Tables of values of the resistance coefficient “K“ - Tables of values of the equivalent length in pipe sizes “Le/D“ - Abacus ratio (Vs Loss Flow local charge on accessories)
