El presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar la relación entre las Habilidades Metacognitivas y el Desarrollo de la Inteligencia Personal de los estudiantes dePrimero a Quinto ciclode la carrera de Obstetricia de una universidad privadaen Lambayeque, en el semestre 2020-II.Los participantes fueron 100estudiantes de ambos géneros, deprimero a quinto ciclo.La metodología utilizadadesarrolla el enThe objective of this research projectis to evaluate the relationship between Metacognitive Skills and the Development of Personal Intelligence of thestudentsfrom First to Fifth semesterof Obstetricsmajorof a private university in Lambayeque, in the semester 2020-II.The participants were 100students of both genders,thosewho werestudying within the first and fifth semester. The methodology used focused on the quantitative approach, the descriptive correlational scope, and thenon-experimental cross-sectional design. The results indicated that there is a proportional relationship between the variables Metacognitive Skills andthe Development ofPersonal Intelligence (r=0.585), as well as between the variable Metacognitive Skills and the dimension Intrapersonal Intelligence (r=0.570), and likewise, between the variable Metacognitive Skills and the dimension Interpersonal Intelligence (r=0.509) of the students from First to Fifth semesterof Obstetrics major of a private university in Lambayeque, 2020-II.Therefore, it is concluded that encouraging the use of Metacognitive Skills is important for students so that they can be the main protagonists in the design of their knowledgeand beingable to access to methods of learning according to their needs and context. Likewise, the development of Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Intelligence has a direct impact on the private, academic,and professional life of the student, who without motivation, self-esteem, empathy,and teamwork skills would not be able to performin the society successfully.
