The present thesis describes the proposal for the implementation of The “5S” Tool in the materials warehouse of the Impordis company, which aims to have a clean, organized and very safe work environment for the operators who carry out their activities inside the area, in such a way employees feel motivated to show their skills for a correct operational work inside the company's warehouse. The present research was specified that it has the type of explanatory research, with a quantitative approach and its design is non-experimental, since for this research the analysis of the variables will be carried out and how these are developed, its general objective is to carry out the implementation of The “5S” Tool, for the improvement of the handling of materials in the warehouse of a Logistics Operator 2021, to achieve this objective a situational analysis of the warehouse was carried out where the methods were used such as: Pareto Charts, Ishikawa Diagram and survey, to be able to identify the problem and the specific causes, by which these defective materials are produced, then after identifying the main factors by which the defective materials are produced, which are: the lack of order and cleanliness culture, and the incorrect classification of materials, it’s proposed to implement the “5S” tool using the following methods: the record of the first "S" - Classify, the record of the second "S" - Sort, the record of the third "S" - Cleaning, the Seiketsu Evaluation sheet - Standardization and the Record of Compliance of the 5S Tool, achieving get the warehouse area clean and tidy warehouse, with constant personal training and improving times in the reception and dispatch of materials. Finally, concluding that with the implementation of the “5S” Tool, it was possible to reduce the time in the material reception process from 15 minutes with 15 seconds to 13 minutes and 25 seconds, which in percentage values is represented by 36.31% to a 32.30% and to conclude, it was possible to reduce the times in the materials dispatch process from 13 minutes and 27 seconds to 12 minutes and 32 seconds, which in percentage values is represented by 62.28% to 58.03%.
