The purpose of the present investigation was to determine the relationship that exists between the organizational climate with the work performance in the collaborators of the Private Educational Institution Isaac Newton, Cajamarca 2018. The design of the research is non-experimental - correlational - transversal. The statistical test to establish the correlation between the variables was that of Spearman, for ordinal variables. 51 collaborators (teachers) were evaluated. In this regard, two information gathering instruments were applied. The first was a scale with 5 options that allowed to collect information regarding the organizational climate that employees perceive, this variable had a total of 22 items. The second instrument for job performance was a scale of 5 options and had a total of 38 items. The values of the Likert scale are: always, most of the time yes, sometimes yes and sometimes not, most times not, and never. Through the Cronbach's Alpha, the reliability of the aforementioned 0.785 instruments was established for both variables. The results show a low positive correlation between both variables. These results corroborate with what was pointed out in the thesis considered in the background of the investigation, which indicate the relationship between both variables.
