ABSTRACT The present work proposes to apply preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance management in a land transport system for the Zanja mining project, which will serve to reduce the high paralyzed and unproductive hours and with too many failures in each period. The first chapter will explain the justification, general objective and specific objectives in which the problem will be explained on which to execute the improvement of the Project. The second chapter will explain the basic concepts that will be used in the analysis of the situation of the problem and on which the maintenance management model will be built. Initially, the most well-known types of maintenance will be described, leading to some theories such as reliability and availability. In the third chapter we explain the development of the problem where the location and location where the thesis was executed is also detailed and also explains the organization of the area company to be evaluated for improvement. That was before applying the improvement and also decided to implement the improvement. In the fourth chapter we will explain the final results obtained with the help of maintenance management tools and will show the final results of the availability for comparison by applying the improvement, with a benefit in the reduction of paralyzed hours of 70% and also the Reduction of the number of failures generated in each period of operation of the truck. The fifth chapter will analyze the level of maintenance and availability of equipment. Finally, we will present the conclusions and recommendations reached during the analyzes and studies carried out in this Project.
