ABSTRACT The research was carried out in the Quiroz Electromechanical company located in Cajamarca, where the objective was to determine the influence of work methods on the productivity of electrical maintenance. Identifying problems in work methods such as: Nonstandardized times, high production cycle, downtime during maintenance processes, delays due to poor inventory management, delays due to work accidents, delays due to disorder in the area, undefined processes and the dissatisfaction of customers for delays. Therefore, analytical diagrams, plant distribution, time standardization, learning curve, inventory management system in macros, optimal order quantity with discounts, hazard identification and risk assessment, application of the 5s, development of knowledge management software. As a result there was an increase in maintenance, reduction of working times for maintenance, resulting in an improvement of the starter times from 2 und / HH to 4 und / H.HS / obtaining a benefit of 3,093.75, improvement of times in the in the alternator of 2 und / HH to 3 und / HH obtaining a benefit of S / 4,640.63, in the battery improvement of times of 3 und / HH to 4 und / HH obtaining a benefit of 1,546.88 and in the economic efficiency benefit of S /2,821.06. Additional costs were reduced by making the optimal order quantity with discounts, reduced costs due to accidents and with respect to the quality of order delivery increased by 35%.
