ABSTRACT This study arises from the growing consumer concern for environmental degradation and the effects of their actions on the planet. This trend has led to a new type of marketing that focuses its efforts in moving this concern to businesses and reshape their business model. The aim of this study is to determine the strategies of ecological marketing applicable in the marketing of personal care products in women aged 20 to 30 years in the districts of Trujillo and Victor Larco Herrera, this due to the amount and supplements they consume daily to personal care. Also, the profile of the organic consumer is evaluated trujillana, green marketing strategies used by leading personal care brands identified factors purchase decision and the distribution of these products in the city. For this study surveys were conducted by interception 350 women where it was established that the trujillana ecological consumer consumes more creams often body, which acquired through catalogs and obtain ecological information products through advisory sales. The main factors of decision to purchase personal care products are: quality, brand and price; and the marketing of these products use a long channel structure distribution and type of distribution is intensive. The selling point used by Trujillo's most consumers is the supermarket. Finally , it was determined that the most appropriate green marketing strategies for the marketing of personal care products for this target are: communication strategies, product strategies (packaging), education campaigns outlets, reverse marketing and distribution strategy pull.
