The study was conducted at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (Lima - Peru) between the months of April and May 2019, for a period of eight weeks. The objective was to evaluate the effect of the inclusion of marango (Moringa oleifera Lam.) in the diet of guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus), on the main productive parameters of the growth stage. The first evaluated factor was the offered forage (1. Marango; 2. Chala corn) and the second factor was the feeding system (1. Only forage; 2. Mixed), making up 4 treatments with 6 replicas of 4 animals each. Ninety-six male guinea pigs of the Cieneguilla genotype were used, 14±1 days old and weighing 260.5g. T-III registered a final weight of 1,173.2g, a weight gain of 912.5g and a total feed conversion of 3.5; these values were higher than those observed in T-I with 1,069.4.3g, 809.4g and 4.0 respectively. The guinea pigs with mixed food feeding, obtained the same total consumption of DM, 3,233.9g and 3,203.8g with the inclusion of marango and chala corn respectively. Carcass performance values were 65.9%, 55.8%, 66.6% and 67.2% for T-I, T-II, T-III and T-IV respectively. The highest economic retribution, merit and benefit-cost ratio was the one obtained in T-III with S/. 11.46, 100% and S/. 0.79 respectively, followed by S/. 9.54, 83.27% and S/. 0.66 respectively in T-I. The use of marango as a forrage source in guinea pig's diet is recommended under a mixed feeding system.
