The aim of the present work was to develop a methodology for the experimental drying of Bolaina Blanca (Guazuma crinita) and Marupa (Simarouba amara), establish wood drying programs for both species and determine the appropriate codes for six models of moisture meters. The present work was carried out according to a proposed methodology, which included the determination of physical properties such as density, shrinkage and fiber saturation point; also the selection of the ideal hygrometer code for moisture meters according to the model and brand used, and finally the determination of the drying programs for 1 and 2 inches wood. As a result, the aforementioned physical properties were determined, obtaining density and contraction values considered as low, as well as the determination of fiber saturation point of both species. Also, hygrometer codes were selected for six models of equipment and the drying programs were established for both species. Finally, it is concluded that the proposed methodology can be used to establish wood drying programs, as well as the determination of the physical properties related and the establishment of drying programs.to the process.
