ABSTRACT This work had as main objective the development of a system of power generation based use of associated petroleum gas obtained to create the utility company Petrobras Energía Perú – Piura. The power generation system based on associated gas utilization has been designed with the best resource conditions to avoid inconvenience in the process of power generation energy. For this project it was decided to analyze and design through methods and energy calculations - mechanical system of power generation, with the aim of creating value to the company through the use of the resource obtained at points of control in the oil production. The method and energy calculations - Mechanical allowed to publicize the effectiveness of system implementation exploiting the resource obtained control points. The results achieved in this project are: Design the installation of electric generation system based on use of associated petroleum gas and effectiveness that generates energy in its energy production. Perform the control mechanism in the turbo through the P & ID to control the gas inlet combustion chamber. The economic analysis conducted for this project was based on the program that applies to investment projects of oil and gas technical supervision of oil, which is considered for this project five years for ROI . Presented the following results: Total investment (MM US$) 8.70 TIR (%) 39.63% VAN of 20% (MM US$) 4.016 Cost of gas 2.96
