The fashion industry is the second most polluting business in the world due to excessive use of water and toxic wastes left in the process. As a result of this problem, sustainable fashion was born. In a few words, it aims to satisfy consumer needs and reduce the damage caused in the traditional process. In recent years, the demand for eco-friendly garments has increased considerably in Peru, in comparison to previous periods. However, there is a large percentage of people who are yet indifferent to the subject. This is why, this investigation, seeks to identify the perception of sustainable fashion consumption of the students of Fashion Management and Design from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) in 2020.
