The main objective of the present thesis is to describe and analyze the physical and mechanical characteristics of solid blocks of cellular concrete with foamed additive MasterCell 10 intended to be used as non loadable partition walls. The work is developed in four chapters that cover all the research. The first consists of the generalities, in which we can find a historical account and the objectives of the investigation. For the second part, the theoretical framework is shown, ie the general information of the concrete, which becomes more specific until reaching the cellular concrete with foaming additive. In the third part, we show the general characteristics of the materials to be used, as well as the tests that will be carried out on the cellular concrete that we are evaluating. Finally, in the fourth chapter, the analysis of the results of the tests and the comparison of these with the conventional materials used for non-load bearing masonry is performed. All tests and tests are governed by the Peruvian Technical Standard and the American Society of Testing Materials. Calculation methods, tables and / or charts; are explained and / or mentioned throughout the thesis.
