ABSTRACT The research aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about sexually transmitted infections and risky sexual behaviors in adolescents of I.E No. 3076 "Pink Saint". Comas_ 2019. Material and Methods: A study with a quantitative approach of a descriptive correlational type with a non-experimental cross-sectional design was conducted. The sample consisted of 91 adolescent students of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade of secondary school which was selected by the type of non-probabilistic sampling for convenience; the survey technique was used for data collection and the questionnaire was used as an instrument. Results: It was demonstrated regarding the level of knowledge about sexually transmitted infections that the average level of knowledge prevailed with 72.6%, followed by low level of knowledge with 17.5% and high level of knowledge with 9.9%; It was also evidenced that 48.4% adolescents present at risk sexual behaviors, so it was shown that they practice several risky sexual behaviors: early onset of sexual relations as they began their sexual life between 14 and 19 years of age, multiple sexual partners because 29.7% said they had more than 2 sexual partners, link with the first sexual partner 22.2%, no use of the contraceptive method 30.8%, inappropriate use of the contraceptive method 11.0%, sex practices Genital gold without protection 16.5%, you practice anal sex without protection 17.6%, fleeting relations 27.5%, and abortion with 11.0%. In addition, it was shown that there is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge about sexually transmitted infections and risky sexual behaviors in adolescents according to the Chi-square test correlation χ² = 3,926, with asymptotic significance value p = 0,140 because at being greater (p> 0.05) it is inferred that there is no relationship between the variable.
