The present Applied Research Project consists of the application of Management by processes and the cycle of continuous improvement in the warehouse of a company that markets and transforms iron and steel, which will reduce the cost of repair of deteriorated materials that are generated in the store. The methodology applied is based on the use of tools and methods of Industrial Engineering, among which are: Classification ABC Multicriterio and Diagram of Ishikawa for the identification of the causes of the problem, Tool 5's and 7 changes for the order and cleaning of the warehouse and finally, Process Management to restructure the activities carried out in the Company. According to the diagnosis, the main problem of the Company is the amount of deteriorated products that are generated in the warehouse and in some cases originate the return of orders. The solution proposal is based on Process Management and the Deming cycle. The contribution of this research is to order the warehouse, restructure the processes of reception, storage, inventory control and picking in order to reduce the repair cost incurred by the damaged material. Finally, the economic investment that the Project will represent is evaluated, in order to determine if it will generate beneficial results for the Company.
