It is common to use the traffic light as a control system to satisfy the demand of the automotive fleet in a safe and efficient way in traffic signals intersections. The same that can perform in different ways, one of them being called the "Green Wave" effect, which guarantees that the journey of a group of vehicles through a lane of a road at an established speed will see a progressive succession of green lights, and will not have to stop at intersections, which will allow us a continuous flow. This investigation includes the implementation of the Green Wave effect in six (06) intersections along Pardo de Zela Avenue, from Arequipa Avenue to Prolongación Iquitos Avenue, in addition to the application of left turn restrictions at certain intersections and the use of devices to model the effect of public transport vehicles in them, in order to improve service levels. In this way it was possible to conclude that with the implementation of the model, restrictions and artifices employed have allowed us to obtain better levels of service (level C) and a shorter time of delays, which in turn leads to a better quality of travel for the user and a reduction in environmental pollution.
