Abstract: La presente investigación busca determinar la relación entre las variables de estudio:
adicción a las redes sociales, soledad y aislamiento en jóvenes de una universidad
trujillana. La muestra estuvo conformado por 300 alumnos de La facultad de Educación y
Ciencias de La Comunicación, de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, constituida en su
gran mayoría por mujeres, cuyas edades se ubicaron entre los rangos de 16 a 29.
Además, se empleó un muestreo de tipo probabilístico estratificado. Se utilizaron, las
pruebas psicológicas de: Cuestionario de Aislamiento y Soledad (CAS) de Casullo (1998)
además, el Test de Adicción a las Redes Sociales (TARS) de Basteiro, et al. (2013). Se
concluye que la soledad y aislamiento no guardan relación con el desarrollo de la
Adicción a las Redes Sociales.

This research tries to determine the relationship between the addiction to the social networks, the solitude and the isolation in young people in a university located in Trujillo. The sample consisted of 300 students of The Faculty of Education and Communication Sciences; most of them were women, which, ranges of age were 16 and 29 years old. Also, a probabilistic stratified sample was used. The instruments applied were “The Questionnaire of Isolation and Solitude” (CAS) by Casullo (1998) and “The Test of Social Network’s Addiction” (TARS) by Basterio et al (2013).The study concludes that there is not relationship between the solitude and the isolation with the development of the addiction to social networks.
