The present research work entitled: Zoning of the bearing capacity of the soils of the Towns of Roque and Pinshapampa of the District of Alonso de Alvarado Province of Lamas Region San Martín, aims to determine the bearing capacity that allows the elaboration of a zoning map of bearing capacity of soils in the towns of Roque and Pinshapampa. The research methodology used was descriptive, which seeks to specify and analyze the geological and geotechnical characteristics of the soil. The correct development of the laboratory tests of moisture content, consistency limits (atterberg), granulometric analysis, field density, direct cutting and soil classification has been carried out, based on the current established standards, continuing with the development of the work These tests have made it possible to determine the physical and mechanical properties of the foundation soil, as well as the type of soil and its characteristics. A classification of the soils was carried out by the SUCS method, which indicates the presence of soils with coarse and fine granulometry, soils with fine granulometry of the CL and CH type clay, and soils of coarse granulometry of the GP, GM and GC, with a low to medium humidity percentage, in the research work two well-marked geotechnical zones have been determined called Zone I, Zone II and Zone III, which are delimited in Zone I by C-01, C-02 , C-03, C-04, C-05, C-08, C-09, and Zone II C-06, C-07, C-10., C-11, C-12, C-14 Y C-17 and Zone III C-15, C.16, C-17, C-18. C-19, C-20.
