The research work: "Relationship of hydric parameters, soil and orography of the Las Palmas Populated Center for the Hydraulic and Structural Design of an Urban Storm Sewer System", aimed to carry out a detailed study of the relationship between the hydric parameters , soil and orographic of the urban area of the Las Palmas Populated Center, to subsequently design an optimal Urban Storm Sewer System, which efficiently evacuates rainwater. For this purpose, hydrology, topography, and geology studies were carried out that gave us the basic and necessary parameters for the design. For the topographic study, the topographic survey of the area was carried out, with which the areas of influence and the initial and definitive hydraulic approach of the system were drawn. For the hydrological study, the hydrometeorological record of maximum precipitation of “El Porvenir” Ordinary Climatological Station was considered, with which the design precipitation was calculated. For the geological study, the bearing capacity of Las Palmas was considered, which will identify and evaluate the types and behavior of the soils in the area, necessary for the structural design of the system. Finally, for the calculation of the flows, the considerations, and methods of Standard OS0.60 were used. With the results of the research, the importance of carrying out a detailed study of the basic parameters of the urban area under study was evidenced, in order to design a functional and economical drainage system, which will surely contribute to the beauty of the work.
