This research proposes the social marketing campaign, "Your blood counts, because we are a big family", aimed at promoting the attitudes of people in the city of Tarapoto about blood donations, in the potentially active population to donate , resident in the city of Tarapoto. In this case, the descriptive - propositive methodology was used as a research perspective. The selected samples were composed of 384 inhabitants of the reference community, between 18 and 55 years of age. In addition, health professionals, committee officers and experts who evaluated the design of the campaign. For the development of the research process, the analysis of documents and the survey were used as instruments for collecting information. Expert criteria were used as a method to evaluate the design of the campaign, based on the proposed objective. The low level of attitudes evidenced by the population regarding blood donation was observed, which limits their disposition towards that act. In this regard, the experts consulted endorsed the campaign proposal, so it is recommended to make it available to the San Martin Regional Blood Bank under study, so that its implementation in this community or another municipality with similar needs and problematic.
