This research aims to determine hydrologic and geomorphic parameters within the Cachiyacu Micro-basin, by using precise bibliographic information and updated meteorological data. Furthermore, said data was classified to meet the minimum criteria in any hydrologic research, which means to be: Trustworthy, Complete and Extensive. After gathering all the information, the following step was to calculate and define the geometric parameters, by using the National Map given by the IGN which was digitalized each 20 meters. These parameters were the area (14.927km) and the perimeter (19.487). Also, it is possible to measure the rivers length and highlight heights of the contour lines in the map. Then, geomorphic parameters such as the Compaction Coefficient (Cc), the Sinuosity Index (Si), the drainage density (Dd) and others, as well as defining the micro-basin reflief by calculating the basin relief index, the hypsometric tint, the frequency polygons and the stream index (by using Taylor-Swarchz method). These results allow for a classification of the Cachiyacu Micro-basin, which falls under the category of a mature basin, with poorly drained and unstable relief. By the same results the river falls under the category of meandering. Using the meteorological data given by the SENAMHI enabled the verification of continuous periods of precipitation, with a mean annual valor of 1750mm. Furthermore, 3 different instances were identified: 2 humid periords with a maximum value of 216 mm and 1 dry period with a minimum value of 74mm. Also, due to the temperature data, the mean annual temperature was calculated with a value of 22.30°C, and, by the usage of both – precipitation and temperature- the Evapotranspiration was calculated with a range of values that goes as high as 99.3mm and as low 74mm. Finally, it was possible to make use of the water balance equation, which gave results of water in units of volume and discharge (streamflow). The value of the mean annual discharge is 324l/s, while the monthly mean shows a huge gap with values as low as 0 and as high as 80l/s.
