The following thesis work is a non-experimental descriptive study that aims to determine the levels of anemia in trauma patients Tarapoto II-2 MINSA Hospital corresponding to the period of January - September 2018. In this study were involving 283 patients of the Trauma service of the Tarapoto II-2 MINSA Hospital. The clinical records of these patients were used for data collection. The results of the work are detailed below: The most frequent study group was that of young people, which represents 39.6% of the total sample. Males were predominant in 58.7% and 31.7% suffered from anemia at admission, 39.9% from preoperative anemia and 33.6% from postoperative anemia. Of the 283 patients studied, 157 of them suffer from anemia of some degree upon admission to the service; 208 of them suffer from preoperative anemia and 175 suffer from postoperative anemia and finally 182 patients had a rapid in-hospital response, 82 a slow in-hospital recovery and 19 a late in-hospital recovery.
