In the Juninguillo micro-basin the predominant activity is agriculture, dedicated mainly to coffee cultivation and a few other crops, such as bananas and cassava among others, primarily for private consumption, of which in many cases it's necessary to clear hectares of forest to expand the agricultural frontier, which is often burned to save time and money, as well as massive use of pesticides and fertilizers of chemical nature. In response, the present investigation has studied the relationship between agricultural activities and the creation of environmental impacts in the Juninguillo-La Mina micro-watershed, for which surveys have been carried out on 58 families and field observations performed, reaching the following conclusions: There is a direct relationship between the agricultural activities carried out in the Juninguillo-La Mina micro-basin and the social impacts produced in that area. It is evident that the older they are, the more experienced they are, and thus more likely to commercialize their products. The quantity of crops is directly related to employment, which directly relates to quality of life. There is a direct relationship between agricultural activities and the economic repercussions of the Juninguillo-La Mina micro-watershed area, since the more years of experience, the greater the number of hectares under cultivation, and the greater the tenure of housing due to economic growth. There is a direct relationship between the agricultural activities that take place within the Juninguillo-La Mina watershed and the environmental impacts that result from the processes involved in agricultural production, as evidenced in the Leopold Matrix for agricultural activities in the aforementioned watershed.
