he present work of Thesis to choose the Professional Title of Civil Engineer, has been developed with the purpose of making a technical-scientific contribution to help determine the design of a pavement at the level of a neighborhood road. The research is of applied type and has been carried out by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the National University of San Martín, developing the project in the provinces of Mariscal Cáceres and Bellavista, in the San Martín Region. This work has been developed applying in the field the existing theories and norms of topography, soil mechanics, traffic study, pavement design and other related, and that have allowed to have the Pavement Design at the Affirmed level of the Rehabilitation and Improvement of the Alto Cuñumbuza Neighborhood Road - Puerto Bermudez, section Km 0+ 000 - Km 9 + 000 in a length of 9.00 Kms. The results show clearly that it is possible to achieve, from the correct application of the theories, studies and corresponding designs, the thickness of the pavement at the level of the neighborhood road studied. This pavement design at the level of the road built in the Alto Cuñumbuza - Puerto Bermudez Road, Km 0 + 000-Km 9 + 000, will be used for the Execution of Rehabilitation and Improvement of this road and when execute this project will benefit the residents of these provinces. The development of a nation depends to a large extent on the extent and condition of its road network. The roads and highways condition the capacity and speed of mobilization of people and goods, aspects that directly affect social, political and economic progress.
